Hugh Doherty’s QED engineering company is based out of Enterprising Monaghan’s M:Tek business centre in Monaghan Town. Hugh explains that his company specialises in project management, energy management, environmental management, environmental monitoring, health and safety and planning. Q.E.D can provide a personal service to meet all their client’s regulatory needs in the areas mentioned above. Hugh says that he chose M:Tek as it provides excellent facilities including high speed broadband, parking & canteen facilities. Monaghan is ideally placed to service a wide variety of different industries ranging from food, chemicals, and an array of manufacturing industries. Indeed, Co. Monaghan’s agri-food industry has a turnover of over €1.5bn, while the engineering sector’s annual turnover would be in the region of €500m. Hence, Hugh choose the M:Tek building so that he could be in the heart of this progressive and industrious county.
