Monaghan County Enterprise Fund - Enterprising Monaghan is a non-profit organisation run by a team of local entrepreneurs and businesspeople on a voluntary basis to support business start-ups and SMEs throughout the county. Enterprising Monaghan is seeking to recruit a:   Chief Executive Officer

The job purpose of the CEO is to manage the Enterprising Monaghan fund and its assets effectively and to grow the fund and its capacity to attract investment opportunities and in turn provide practical help though workspaces to start up and existing enterprises 

Business Planning:

Develop and execute strategic plans, that will deliver significant growth and prosperity through new and existing enterprises throughout Monaghan

Oversee the implementation of policies, plans, budgets and programmes as agreed by the Board of Directors

Resource Management:

To manage existing assets and develop new workspaces to meet the needs of entrepreneurs 

To manage and motivate an enthusiastic team of service personnel in multiple locations

Enterprise Delivery:

Working with all funding, education and enterprise agencies that impact on creating and advancing county wide enterprise, so that there is a seamless synergy between all enterprise stakeholders in the county 

Develop a multi facet side to marketing of Enterprise Monaghan activities to advance the potential prosperity of enterprises in the county

Located in Monaghan town, Enterprising Monaghan offers excellent terms and conditions to the right candidate, who has at least 5 years’ experience in a senior management position, preferably in an entrepreneurial environment.  Also, excellent communications and influencing skills underpinned by marketing and IT skills is required.
